2006 Great American Democracy Auction


Sat., Aug. 19, 2006, 4-8 pm, Pierre Monteux School, Hancock


Here are some highlights from this year's auction. Many thanks to organizers Phil Bailey, Evelyn Foster, Kim Forthofer, and the many other volunteers who made this another very successful event!

Guests get bidding numbers and dinner tickets. A steady crowd enjoys the lobster feed. Congressman Michaud addresses the crowd. On stage behind him are Maine House Rep. Ted Koffman, Gov. Baldacci, House candidate Steve Savage, Me. House Rep. Hannah Pingree, House candidate Rob Eaton, and State Sen. Damon. Gov. John Baldacci received a standing ovation.
Gov. Baldacci urged Democrats to work together to secure Maine's future. Rep. Michaud chats with an auction guest. Auctioneer Damon gets the bidding underway. Winning bidder Dexter Bellows discusses plans for an evening at the Blaine House with the Governor.
